Fix for DATA.OVL

I just tried really playing the game, and the second solution, but under the first, it was playable but a little bit laggy when scrolling.

The second one didn't even help at all =\

Well there are reasons for the lag.  The data.ovl fix doesn't ifx that.

I have not verified these solutions.  I am only posting what users have submitted as fixes.

First of all, i'm so surprised when i found this forum
i still hardly to believe that until this day, there are still many people who loved this game

ok, my question is,
i want to play this game in windows 7... it is possible?
If it is possible, what should i do? (in step by step)

do i need patch the game first, into the V1.0.66? (from http://www.pizzaconnection2.de/)

do i need to install the DirectX 7.0, which included is the installer disc?

I didn't even know there was a patch.  It should work right out of the box on Windows 7.  Apply the patch if you want, and let me know if it works.  It works fine in Vista, so I'd assume it would work in Windows 7.  

Let me know if you run into any problems though.  No, you don't need to install DirectX.

Ok, here's THIRD SOLUTION - that fixes both data.ovl problem and lag that comes after using solution number 1 listed in this topic. I found it on one forum (thanks to the guy who came up with the idea!) and translate it for you - it works great for me.

1. Right-click on your desktop and choose "Properties"
2. Then go to Setting/Advanced and find "Troubleshoot"
3. There you should have something like Hardware acceleration - move it to the third bar from left, exactly like on file I attached

Ok, I'm using non-English version of Win XP and I had some problems choosing right names used in your Windows - but I hope it's still helpful.
