Little Big Adventure Release Notes

Here's our release log of the fixes we've implemented in our latest Little Big Adventure and Little Big Adventure 2 Custom Versions available for download at Little Big Adventure HQ:

Bug Reports

If you encounter any bugs, please report them immediately, so that we can fix them!  You can report them by contacting us using our Contact Form

You can also report them by posting in the LBA General board.    We'll get them fixed!


Version 2.5 Updates

Released On:  2/20/11

Little Big Adventure 2:
Sound tracks have been ordered properly on the disc.

• The Juke Box now picks the right songs.
• Music is properly ordered.

Version 2.0 Updates

Released On:  8/22/10

Little Big Adventure 2:
You should use the DosBox shortcuts for all versions of Windows, as the car will only work perfectly in DosBox!

• Enhanced Windows Vista and Windows 7 compatibility.
• Pre-configured DosBox included with LBA2 to automate sound settings, mount drives, and launch the game from a single click on the desktop
• Made LBAWIN by default start up in minimized mode due to strange color artifacting.
• Car fixed only in DosBox mode.  Currently, it's impossible to fix the car bug in Windows.

Little Big Adventure 1:
You should use the DosBox shortcuts for all versions of Windows to launch the game!

• Enhanced Windows Vista and Windows 7 compatibility.
• Pre-configured DosBox included with LBA1 to automate sound settings, mount drives, and launch the game from a single click on the desktop

Known Issues Both Versions:



If you receive the above error when launching the DosBox shortcuts in Windows 7 or Vista, just click on Continue, and it will work fine.  This is normal behavior, as our script is checking to see which drive contains the LBA CD or Image.  YOU MUST USE THE CDs / Images for both versions.

Little Big Adventure 2:

• Vista sound error corrected by incorporating sound fix.
• Missing audio (how did this happen again?) added.
• Changed default install directory to be more Vista friendly for either x86 or x64 machines.
• Game works perfectly in Vista x86 and x64
