Hello,

I just installed the custom version of LBA1 on my Win98SE and when I try to start the dosbox version of the game I get a message like "This program is not supported on this Operating system". I noticed that the dosbox config script uses commands like set %P which as far as I know does not exist in Win versions before XP.

Has anybody had success running LBA1 on Win98 ? Did I miss something in the installation ?

Thanks !

Can you run the LBAWin version instead?

If not, try method three listed here:

http://lbahq.com/sound.htm

It may work in other versions of Windows besides XP.

Yes, LBAWin works but since Dosbox is the prefered method I wanted to see if anybody had success with it.

Try using an older version of DosBox such as version 0.70 which supports 98 SE:
