I canīt install the latest patch for the english WotR. I just get: "Old file not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match."
Any suggestions how to solve it? I have the retail version.

Are you using a NO CD crack for version 1.00.0010, or have you modified any of the files?  If so, you'll need the original executable or files before the patch will install.

If the link Yaroslav provided doesn't install, let me know, and I'll have you try something else.

Yes, thatīs the one Iīm trying to install. I havenīt modified any of the files, and Iīm not using a No-CD crack. Iīve only been playing singleplayer since I installed the game about a week ago.

I would uninstall and then reinstall.  Then try patching.

I do not see any problems, why not install crack?
the only reasonable reason not to install it - game through the "GameSpy Arcade".
You can try to install "CCleaner" and clean up the registry.
You can also just download the game from torrent and there already is a licensed version 1.01.0011, this simply does not need to install the crack.
I do not understand that in this difficult.

I would also recommend going down this road.  There could be something wrong with your disc.  Download it from somewhere.
