hi, i'm joe, new in here, and i am a electronic moron. i have recently adopted 4 kids and 3 of them want either sony psp or nin ds lite's, this i simply cannot afford, but while looking on ebay i seen (psp players with 512 mb, says can play thousands of games, has mp3/4 player video and also has a 2mp digital camera built to,but i was told that the psp games had to be on sd cards to work, and they told me to just download the game then send it to disk and then you have it.) no as i said i'm very stupid with this kind of stuff, but would like the honest scoop on these thing they cost about 120.00 plus shipping, but this is alot more do-able for me to spend and make them have a happy xmas for once, they have had a really rough start on life. anyway i'm not sure if my ?s make sense, or if you can help me or not, but i truely appreciate you taking the time to read (and hopefully understand) my strangness, if so thanks alot if not thanks for your time and take care and god bless ya and have a great holiday season my friend. the new local moron, short_bus

PSP games come on PSP UMD discs.  These discs can hold 1.8 GB of information.

Yes, they are expensive, but $120 is a good deal if you can get a brand new system.

Normal SD Cards do not fit into PSPs.  Only Sony's Memory Stick DUO (Like an SD Card) will fit.

As for downloading games, I don't think your idea will work.  You'll have to buy the UMD discs at the store - around $40 - $50.

Or, you could always use Ebay to find PSP systems and games for cheap.  Hope that helps!   Grin
