Hi, I've played this game when it first was released and loved it, so it was great to find it still around after all these years. Thank you!
I couldn't get the setup to run on Vista 64, but it was fine on my laptop (Vista 32). I do have a couple of problems one of which has stopped me getting much further in the game. I am running the no CD version. The car will not steer when moving forwards, but is OK backwards. The bigger problem is that sometimes Twinsen cannot enter a room/cave - I briefly see the inside before being evicted again. It has happened a couple of times in different places and with persistence I can get Twinsen in. The problem has reappeared when trying to enter the cave with the pearl of incandescence. When it does let Twinsen in he is ditched into the sea and drowns! Does anyone know a way round this issue? Other than that the game runs perfectly.

Are you running our version?  I was able to get it installed and playable on Vista x64.

Hi, I'm using the version downloaded from www.lbahq.com. I suspect my installation of Vista is a bit odd - I have re-installed the OS twice on this machine in quick succession about a year ago (due to problems caused by faulty memory chips as it turned out) and one or two programs that worked OK on the first install refused to run on the second install even though I did exactly the same thing both times about 10 days apart. Both PC's are running SP2. On Vista 64 the setup for LBA2 stops responding when it reaches the Readme part without displaying the text. I may re-install again or maybe upgrade to Windows 7 - Vista 64 has been nothing but trouble!
Thanks

Keep the image mounted when you play the game?

Maybe you should burn a CD?

Try those two options first, and then let me know.
