Hello. My name is Yaroslav. And I can change the game of war of the ring, but not at the root.
Soon I'll post your manual modes and how you can change the game. Do not expect big changes, they are not possible.

oh, "good reads"=)
I can only make changes values, but the game changes dramatically. By the way I changed the parameters of the AI(which are located in the "AIPlayers"), so it is now difficult to play, and therefore more interesting.
I made 2 new maps are not as great as yours, but nice))))

well, new warriors and textures, new abilities will not ... unfortunately;
but here the values: life, attack, defense, cost (magical power or food / ore), speed of recovery skills, damage abilities (of radius and range of use), how long it takes a warrior strength "-all this can be changed. and might even have anything to add to this list ...

В Hex-editor'е я его сделал. Я изменял файлы Units, Weapons, Spells, Buildings. К сожалению файлы lqr я редактировать не могу, так бы сделал колосальные изменения...
P.S. позже скажу как и что изменять, т.е. где атака, защита, жизнь, численность и.т.п....

пока времени мало, а сервак не получится...
ресурсы повысить... выбираешь карту и в настройках карты "ресурсы:Выс." сделай и будет тебе 10 тыс)
я же сказал как открывать, ты именно так открываешь?

попробуй сам..

да..и про ресы...я говорил про стопку руды..скажем..там же макс 10 000 ...нельзя сделать 99 999 ?? ну... 150 000 тыщ)

Я открывал и изменял, и всё норм... если открывать просто нажав на файл, то "визуально ничего не видно"
Ресурсы не льзя изменить, к сожалению)

да и еще..такая вещь..пара неприятных моментов.

подумай о... "Палантире"..
т.е о панели маг способностей..там есть эффекты...некоторые из них ооочень важны..а так как монстры стали оч сильными...их нужно еще и убивать с помощью например Энта.. А его дамаг...т.е урон..вообще мелкий..или же колючки...толком никого не убивают.

Later made a version 1.5 with my map;
map it's funny.
In version 1.5 i will try to find, thanks for the tip, "tvr1", the damage of a palantir spells, for this I need to know what they are called(name) in English, because My English is not perfect, and there are many names of "weapons" ...
The commandpoints 200 can not be done, max = 100, so I made (like all the troops(army/units)), the commandpoints of 1.
If you have comments about the balance, say to me =)

Now I have continued to make a mod for the Battle for Middle Earth 2 RotWK.
anyone interested?

карта весёлая.
в версии 1,5 постараюсь найти, спасибо за подсказку, "tvr1", урон от способностей в палантире, для это мне нужно знать как они называются на английском, т.к. мой английский не идеален, и там много названий "оружия"...
Численность 200 сделать невозможно, поэтому я сделал(вроде все войска) численностью по 1.
Если есть замечания о балансе, подскажите=)
Урон энта оч. высокий.

Чтобы поиграть в дополнение установи "битва за средиземье 2" потом "битва за средиземье 2 под знаменем короля-чародея"...
лучше русскую версию - я делаю мод к ней, а если заинтересуются то сделаю и англ. версию...

At the expense of wide screen: now (at this point), the game is not installed for me, but if I remember correctly in the game folder is a file "Options" or something like that, it is possible to change the screen resolution, so I did. But you can not put higher resolution of your screen.
in the file "wotr (en)" you can find methods to describe various types of editing, such as "weapons" or "building", etc.
but in English I did not translate all that I wanted, I'll do it later and everyone will be able to edit that I edited.

well I'm doing a mod for the game "Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth, risse of the Witch King" (bfme 2: rotwk), I'll post if interesting fashion.
Returning to lotr: wotr:: I was planning to make a version 1.50, which would be even better and balanced strorony light and dark, but there is no particular ideas of those who have?

Also, Liquid Entertainment will most likely not respond, as they didn't ever answer my question about wide screen resolutions about 3 years ago before the Sierra forums were shut down.

To be honest the whole thing, not only in the game:
video card drivers do not fully support this game on old computer I can put a resolution of 1600x1200, but 1152x864 on my notebook.
what is your video card and OC?
By the way, did you play in my mod?

I have a computer with an Nvidia GTX 465 video card, and I also have a computer with an ATI 4890 HD video card.  Both systems do not allow me to pick widescreen resolutions through War of the Ring.

I have not tried your mod yet, as I've hardly been able to play any games lately.  I look forward to trying it though.  Work keeps me busy.

business drivers that set up the video card, but also in the monitor, video card new generations of poorly compatible with old games, if you connect otdelny monitor then most likely you can achieve the desired result.
Monitor notebook video card and it is closely dependent in the graphics settings.
That is the whole reason the notebook monitor.

Сейчас версия мода "1.51 beta 0.7", добавлены мануалы, они стали ещё подробнее. где-то в версиях 1.44-48 баланс начинает чувствоваться.
Так как сейчас я сделал прорыв в моддинге этой игры и изучаю её дальше дабы максимально выжать то, что можно изменить баланс будет по синусоиде - то рушиться, то восстанавливаться. Будет добавлено ещё порядка 12 новых юнитов, которые есть только в компании.
На счёт численности есть проблема - максимальная численность отведённая для игрока это значение 255(ячейка 1 байт - на здания).
И поверь игра не выдержит 150 воинов у каждого игрока - я тестил у 3 игроков по 100 игроков - игра лагала((
А ты играешь в мой мод? если да та какая версия?=)
На счёт ресурсов - ничего поделать не могу, вообще никак.
НО для тебя есть новость: я планирую сделать аркадную версию мода, которая будет делаться на последней версии EvilMod, называться будет EvilMod_Final: Arcade.
В такой версии ты повеселишься и с численностью и ресурсами)))))
Кстати я тоже играю по сетке через tunngle с друганом)
Когда выйдет последняя версия сказать сложно, т.к. я на 100% не изучил 5 важных файлов.

here's a description:
